Equity is calling for a meeting of these organisations where they share a commitment to creating a work environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect – with no tolerance for bullying and harassment – ​​and any concerns raised will be responded to and acted upon promptly.
In practice, this means creating safe casting and audition spaces where professional recruitment standards will be applied and auditions will be conducted in appropriate workspaces; producers will explicitly respect work policies, which include raising and addressing concerns about bullying and harassment and complaints process.
