Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi release date confirmed

Last month, the famous cooking guide Michelin announces coming to Abu Dhabi.

Thursday, start date Abu Dhabi Michelin Guide Confirmed on November 10.

The guide will be featured at a black tie event at the Emirates Palace. Attendees will enjoy a menu curated by international Michelin-starred chefs including Simon Rogan (from L’Enclume, UK), Bjorn Frantzen (from Frantzen, Sweden), Cheryl Koh (from Les Amis, Singapore) and Jimmy Ophorst (from Pru in Thailand), and Executive Chef Lee Kok Hua of Hakkasan Abu Dhabi.

We don’t yet know if the capital will choose Bib Foodie, One, two or three star establishments.restaurants that have been awarded one Michelin star for “good cooking worth a visit” and two Michelin stars for “excellent cooking worth a detour”, and Three Michelin Star For “extraordinary food worthy of a special trip”.

Michelin’s Bib Gourmand listing refers to restaurants that offer “good value three-course meals,” i.e. establishments where diners can enjoy several courses for a certain amount (which varies according to the cost of living in the city).

The Abu Dhabi guide was unveiled at an event in the UAE capital in September.

“Around the world, our inspectors have been on-site monitoring the evolution of the culinary scene, as is Abu Dhabi; our inspectors have been here for over six years,” Gwendal PrenneckInternational Director Michelin GuideTell National after the announcement.

At the time, Abu Dhabi had not yet been finalized, and Poullennec said it would wait until the list was announced. “It’s a never-ending process,” he said. In a message to restaurant owners in the capital, he joked that they should be “careful” as inspectors are still on site and will be “their regulars”.
