Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will inaugurate the UAE India Global Forum 2022, which kicks off in Dubai on Monday.
The five-day celebration will bring together major political, business and cultural personalities from India, the UAE and around the world.
This is India’s first major international event under its G20 presidency and will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from December 12-16.
India officially assumed the G20 presidency on 1 December.
The five-day event, covering the breadth of India-UAE bilateral relations, climate finance, technology and investment, will also be an opportunity to discuss India’s global aspirations in challenging geopolitical scenarios and its G20 presidency.
The forum will also provide cooperation opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs from both countries to generate regional and global impact.
“Now more than ever, it is important for countries, businesses and influential people to find common ground and work towards positive outcomes to have a global impact. Our UAE edition of the India Global Forum is the first under India’s G20 presidency. A major global event that will make this happen,” said Professor Manoj Ladwa, Founder and Chairman, India Global Forum.
