Symphonic Elvis:
The Houston Symphony will perform a free tribute to Elvis Presley on June 14 at 8:00 pm at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Mezzanine and lawn seats are free; orchestra-level seating is $25.

Mo Williams:
The work of artist and author Mo Willems is the focus of Elephant & Piggie in We Are Art, a Mo Willems exhibit now through September 2 at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts. Admission is free, with a $5 suggested adult donation. Storytime is offered every Wednesday morning, including June 14th at 11:15am

Elephant and Pig is the character Willems introduced to the world in 2007, and several productions have followed. The exhibition features 75 works, including a selection of original illustrations, early drawings and more.

Angler Education:
The Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center will be hosting “Learn to Fish on the Bluegill Pond” on June 16th from 10 am to 3 pm. Admission is free.

Co-hosted by takemefishing.org and fishingsfuture.org, the event invites beginners to learn how to set up a rod, tie two knots and identify common freshwater species in Texas. After an hour lunch break, participants will fish the bluegill pond in the center.

Lively Mason:
Country artist Mason Lively will perform at Dosey Doe The Big Barn in The Woodlands on June 16th at 8:30 pm. Tickets start at $12.

Misery gameplay:
Stageworks Theater presents Misery, running through June 25th. Adult tickets are $31.Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3pm

Between 40 and 50 vendors attend Tamina’s weekly farmers’ market, held on Tamina Road every Saturday (including June 17) from 8.45am to 12pm.

Vendors include local farmers and on-site food and restaurants in a family- and pet-friendly environment with in-room bathrooms. Vendors provide fresh fruit, local honey, sauces and salsas. The market has recently shifted to sprinkle or shine mode, and if the weather is downpour, it will be closed now.
