The Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) hosted a discussion on Arabic. The lecture entitled “Sovereign Wealth Investment in Sustainable Development” held on Sunday (October 31) is aimed at economists, policymakers, investors, sustainability experts, governance experts, scholars and researchers. It emphasizes the important role of sovereign wealth funds (SWF) in promoting macroeconomic policies, especially economic diversification and sustainable development.
Participating in this event were Abdalla ElEbiary, Chief Investment Officer of the Egyptian Sovereign Fund (SFE), and Dr. Mona El-Sholkamy, Assistant Professor of Public Administration at MBRSG. SFE Chief Investor Relations Officer Noha Khalil also attended the seminar; Ms. Safia Al-Obaidly, Director of Complex and Free Zone Strategy-DP World-UAE Region.

The lectures gave participants a deeper understanding of the different responsibilities of sovereign wealth funds; emphasized their role in exploring the field of sustainable investment; identified mechanisms so that they can contribute to the economic diversification of resource-rich countries that rely on limited commodity exports Make contributions; and understand their governance agreements.
The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government is the first research and teaching institution in the Arab world focusing on governance and public policy, providing a training program designed to train future leaders and prepare them to respond to public administration and policy challenges throughout the region Academic and training programs.
