At the meeting attended by Mona Al Marri, Secretary-General of AJA and Chairman of Dubai Press Club, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his gratitude to the board members of the award for their contributions to the development of Arab media and their role in the success of the award.
“The world is witnessing rapid changes, and our Arab media are capable of responding to this change. Sheikh Mohammed said that active dialogue and objectivity are the basic requirements for shaping our Arab consciousness in the next stage.
“The media of the future must be constantly evolving, active and constructive. It must use contemporary technological tools to convey information,” he added.
Sheikh Mohammed also stated that the Arab media must be honest, creative and innovative in order to help the Arab society realize its aspirations and overcome challenges. “
