Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai’s aerospace platform dedicated to aviation industry advancement, has partnered with Satys, the French aircraft sealing and painting group, to construct a new paint hangar at MBRAH in Dubai South.
This new facility will serve business aviation markets (including Dassault Falcon, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Embraer) and single-aisle commercial aviation markets (particularly Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families). The state-of-the-art hangar, the only one of its kind in the region, with a capacity of around 20 aircraft annually, will become operational in January 2025. This addition brings the total number of aircraft paint bays operated by Satys to 39 across 13 countries in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, expressed, “Our aim at MBRAH is to attract the top global players to expand and benefit from our integrated ecosystem and state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities.”
Christophe Cador, CEO of the Satys Group, emphasized the strong support from Dubai South in making this agreement possible and mentioned their commitment to meet the growing demand for repainting single-aisle and VIP aircraft in the Middle East.
MBRAH serves as a global aerospace connectivity hub and a free-zone destination for leading airlines, private jet companies, MROs (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), and related industries. Located in Dubai South, MBRAH houses maintenance centers, training, and education campuses, aligning with Dubai’s vision of becoming a prominent aviation hub.
