El Paso, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Monkey Rock Entertainment held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Sunland Park Mall on Tuesday.
The Chamber of Commerce presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The institution has halftime rides throughout the day to celebrate.
Attractions include bowling alley, arcade, miniature golf, monkey bay, rock climbing/jungle gym, hologate and more.
The establishment is located within the Sunland Park Shopping Centre, where the old Sears used to be at the time.

Monkey Rock is owned by five brothers.
“My brother Jordan lived in El Paso from 2009 to 2011. He fell in love with the area. We are both from Idaho. We grew up on a waterfall called Money Rock. We wanted to build a We go where we want,” said John Hepworth, co-owner of Monkey Rock.
“We wanted to build a venue that other families could come and enjoy. One of the reasons we chose El Paso was because my brother lived here. Number two, there are a lot of families in El Paso,” Hepworth said.
“Now you see a lot of families playing on their phones instead of spending time together. We want you to go here with your family and friends and spend my time together, then our goal will be achieved,” he said .
