To support the international participating countries of Expo 2020 Dubai and ensure that all pavilion works are completed within the agreed time frame, Dubai Aerocity Corporation (DACC) and its subsidiary Dubai South announced that they have processed more than 4,000 transactions at Aconex – one A one-stop platform designed to ensure seamless and centralized communication between Dubai South, local authorities and entities participating in the Expo.

Each participating country submitted a major package that included designs and plans, some of which were reviewed internally for structural and architectural purposes, while others were shared and discussed with local authorities to obtain feedback and issue NOCs. After all relevant parties have completed the review, all packages have been aggregated and distributed to the organizers of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Among other services provided, Dubai South has also reviewed and approved 252 decoration designs for pavilions and facilities in different areas of the Expo 2020 site. The company also issued 93 building permits to participating countries, including the main building of the Opportunity Hall, the helipad, the Welcome Plaza, the World Expo, three substations and various service buildings. In addition, the decoration design review was completed in coordination with local authorities, and after obtaining approval from all other authorities, permits and completion certificates were issued to a number of well-known local and international restaurants at Expo 2020. Finally, the inspection of all participating countries was completed in time to ensure that all countries are ready for the opening day.

In addition, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Center, the region’s first dedicated free zone for aviation and aerospace in the south of Dubai, has also confirmed that it is ready to welcome tourists and provide them with the best quality services through the center’s VIP terminal. . This is part of the ongoing cooperation between Dubai South and various government agencies to emphasize the status of the emirate and reflect its decades of prestige.

The VIP terminal, together with the organizers of the Expo and other relevant government entities, has received a large number of dignitaries and participants in full swing. As the number of VIP passengers passing through the terminal is expected to surge during global events, the number of PCR testing facilities will be increased to ensure simplified and convenient access for passengers and minimize delays. In addition, the FBO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hubare is also preparing to welcome tourists in accordance with the highest standards.

Another milestone will be the launch of the first phase of the Dubai Heliport, the MBRAH Helicopter Center, which will meet the needs of VIP travelers and wealthy people who want to use the most luxurious and unique transportation to participate in the exhibition and commute to the UAE. Helipad. Emirates Catering will also operate through its facilities at MBRAH to meet the increasing demand of passengers arriving through the VIP terminal.
