Morocco earthquake death toll: 2,946

A recent earthquake in several Moroccan provinces has resulted in 2,946 casualties and 5,674 injuries, as reported by Maghreb Arabe Press, citing the Ministry of Interior. The epicenter was located in the Atlas Mountains, roughly 70 kilometers south of Marrakech in Al Haouz province, according to AP. The earthquake had widespread effects across Morocco, causing injuries and fatalities in other provinces, including Marrakech, Taroudant, and Chichaoua.
