South African-born coach Pietso Mosiman has finally arrived in the UAE to embark on a new journey with UAE Pro League side Al Wada FC.
The former Mamelodi Sunset and Ahlishat coach officially became the new coach of Al Wahda FC on Monday.
Mosiman, affectionately known as Dinges, joined the Emirati giants after parting ways with Al Ahly club.
Mosiman will once again be flying the South African flag high in the Middle East after winning the Yellow League First Division title and leading Ahli back to the Saudi professional league.
The club said in a statement on Monday: “Al Wahda welcomes new head coach Pitso Mosimane, who arrived in Abu Dhabi this morning to lead the team for the upcoming season.
“The new coach was welcomed by Mr Fares Makoum Al Mazrouei, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Wahda Football Corporation, and Mr Riad Al Thawadi, Director of Sports of the company.
“Mr Fares Maktoum Al Mazrouei welcomed the head coach and wished him success in leading Al Wahda to the championship platform.
“In return, Mosiman expressed his gratitude to Al Wahda’s management for the warm reception and his willingness to work with the team to achieve success and win the admiration and support of the fans.”

Mosiman will begin his duties on Saturday and is expected to immediately commit to preparations for the Slam Kings Club Championship later in July.
