The film ‘Luca’ will be screened at Mrs Stocker’s Park on Friday as part of the ‘Film in the Park’ programme.
Sponsored by the Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities for many years, the collection is free to all guests.
Three films are shown throughout the summer, one each in June, July and August, starting around 10pm
Sam Fry, BPU’s marketing and communications coordinator, said the films were suitable for children of all ages.
“It’s a great opportunity for families to enjoy an open-air movie experience at one of the city’s beautiful parks,” he said. of families offer something wholesome to get out on a Friday night.”
Lady Stoke Park is located in the heart of Hillsdale and movie screenings may be delayed due to weather.
A statement from BPU encouraged attendees to bring lawn chairs for movies and outdoor experiences.
“Just bring a comfy blanket or chair, find a nice spot, and enjoy the show,” Fry said.
This collection is part of BPU’s commitment to giving back to the community.
“BPU staff pride themselves on giving back to the community in every way,” he said.
On August 5, “Clifford: The Big Red Dog” will be screened.
