“Father-Daughter Cooperation” Portraits, figurative paintings, landscapes, still lifes and interiors commissioned by Baxter Knowlton, as well as digital paintings by Miriam Knowlton, will be hosted in the galleries of Christ Episcopal Church, 509 Scott Street, Little Rock, Friday, 5-7 p.m. meeting. Jeff Horton’s architectural abstract painting “Random Experiment” will be on display in the church’s drawing room.

“Still life! Mourning, meaning, mending,” An exhibition of 58 multimedia artworks from 47 artists around the world will be on view at a reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. “to highlight the power of art to provide meaning and inspiration in times of ongoing uncertainty and turmoil,” according to a press release Saturday At 21c Museum Hotel, 200 NE A St., Bentonville.

audition: museum looking for actors
Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, 501 E. Ninth St., Little Rock, will be holding auditions for professional adult actors on January 26th, 6-9pm and January 28th, 1-5pm, by appointment only (no appointments). Actors should prepare a three-minute audition consisting of two contrasting monologues and up to 16 bars of music.
