Museum of the Future showcases Audi concept car

[ad_1]

Dubai’s Museum of the Future has partnered with Audi to present its fourth concept car, the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo, which debuted in the “Tomorrow, Today” exhibition at the museum in the region.

Originally developed for virtual racing on PlayStation 4, Audi has brought the car to life, drawing elements from the brand’s rich racing heritage. Inspired by the legendary Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO, the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo thrilled racing fans in the late 80s with two electric motors on the rear axle and a third electric motor on the front axle with outputs up to 600 kW (815 hp).

The Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo marks the fourth of many concepts that will be on display at the museum. Earlier this year, the brand unveiled its first show car, the Audi AI:ME, a concept car designed to provide a vision for autonomous driving in the megacities of the future, and the Sky Ball concept, which will redefine The luxury of the future, changing how we understand mobility. The third car, the Audi A6 Avant e-tron concept car, is also on display at the museum as a symbol of innovation.

As a permanent exhibition showing and reviewing different aspects of the future, the Museum of the Future represents the most important new technologies. It provides a platform to study the future, design its ideas and conduct in-depth discussions on its trends in all scientific, economic, environmental and social fields.

Carsten Bender, Managing Director of Audi Middle East, said: “With the Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo, we are showing how we imagine the future of motorsport. The Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo with its three evenly distributed front and rear axles The electric motor, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.5 seconds, provides unparalleled electric performance. We are therefore excited to bring this concept car to the show, showcasing our brand’s forward-looking technology.”

The Audi e-tron Vision Gran Turismo will be held at the Museum of the Future until February 2023, in the Audi “Today, Tomorrow” exhibition on the second floor. – arab trade news agency
