Abu Dhabi’s Umm Al Emarat Park will host two days of vibrant outdoor cultural experiences on 12-13 March.

Organized in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF), the Festival in the Parks hosts family-friendly events and performances, in addition to inclusive events for those of determination.

Visitors can join the fun in the drum circle, where they can learn to play drums by imitating Dubai drums, or get creative with the Doodle Art Workshop, where they will learn about different styles of doodles such as tags, throws and pieces. Visitors can also enjoy a sustainable palm eye art workshop with Azza Al Qubaisi, who hopes to engage the public through her art.

Friends who like to dance, Dance It Forward’s hip-hop workshops are not to be missed, covering a variety of hip-hop styles and choreography. No previous dance experience is required to participate in this event. There is also an inclusive dance micro-workshop that will provide People of Determination with a safe and creative space to explore mindful movement and physical and emotional expression.

Visitors can also look forward to performances, including stand-up comedy. For those interested in music, don’t miss the incredible Emirati talent who will be performing on stage, including composer and pianist Hamad Al Taee and classical singer Ahmed Al Hosani.

Rasha Kablawi, Director of Umm Al Emarat Park, said: “We are delighted to host the festival again at the park, reflecting our long-standing partnership with ADMAF and our commitment to providing a platform for creative expression in a family-friendly environment” Corporate Affairs and Communications Department.

“An inclusive event for people of determination also showcases our dedication to accessibility, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy the festival.”
