The melodic Music at the Boardwalkevents are returning to Abu Dhabi this month, with regular weekend performances set to serenade visitors in three locations across the emirate.
The open-air shows, which are part of cultural activations from the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) in collaboration with Aldar Properties, will support and promote the city’s thriving music scene, with 126 spectacular live performances from 14 multi-genre artists taking place at Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Marsa Al Bateen and Reem Central Park each Saturday and Sunday at 5pm and 8pm.
Music at the Boardwalkwill see passionate local artists perform popular classics with the artist line-up including UAE-based musician Ibby VK, British singer and songwriter Martyn Crocker, Lebanese-Filipino Chris Ishak and Filipino singer-songwriter Jerome Deligero, along with many more.
As home to many idyllic outdoor venues, Abu Dhabi offers a variety of open spaces for alfresco, casual dining options, such as Mamsha Al Saadiyat and its majestic views of Saadiyat Island’s natural beaches, Marsa Al Bateen with its vibrant, landscaped promenade surroundings and Reem Central Park, featuring spectacular fountain shows, scenic pedestrian and cycle paths and views from the sea to the mangroves.
