National Guard Command forms strategic partnership with Labudin College

ABU DHABI – The National Guard Command and Labudan College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in the fields of academics, research and training related to the fields of safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management.

The signing ceremony was held at the National Guard Command, and was witnessed by Major General Salim Saeed Ghavan Jaberi, Commander of the National Guard, James Morse, Dean of Labdan College, and representatives of both sides.

Al Jaberi said the signing of the MoU is in line with the ongoing efforts to advance professional qualifications, training and scientific collaborations aimed at achieving strategic goals and aspirations.

Morse expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with National Guard Command to maximize this important strategic partnership. He emphasized the importance of fostering joint academic and research collaborations and producing results in line with their future aspirations and expected goals.

The agreement will facilitate the development of a joint training framework to facilitate the exchange of experience, technology and services of qualified individuals and institutions that meet international best practices and standards. In addition, it will create dedicated academic and professional programs in defense, security, business continuity, emergency management, and other related fields.

Furthermore, this collaboration will encourage the exchange of expertise and experience in academia, research and training. It will facilitate the development of academic and professional programs, joint research projects, as well as the provision of technical and advisory services and the exchange of relevant information.

Overall, the strategic agreement will serve as an integrated framework that leverages the competencies and expertise of both parties in the areas of qualification and training.
