NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said all NATO allies agreed for Ukraine to join.

He also told reporters ahead of a Ukrainian defense liaison group meeting at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany that Kiev must have “a deterrent against new attacks” once the war in Ukraine is over.

He said the main focus now was to secure the country’s victory over Russia.
