ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — The NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves will play two preseason games in Abu Dhabi in October, the league announced Tuesday.

In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, the NBA will host the Mavericks and Timberwolves as part of the 2023 NBA Abu Dhabi Games. The games will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on Thursday 5 October and Saturday 7 October.
