Neil Patrick Harris is about to leave for Neverland.
The Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor will star in the new Broadway farce, “Peter Pan Wrong,” April 11-30 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Producers announced Monday that Harris will appear as a “guest star” on the prank’s latest episode, which showcases “teasing gone wrong.” Harris will play Francis, a member of the “Conley Drama Society,” which is trying to play “Peter Pan.” As you can guess from the title, everything that can go wrong is bound to go wrong.

Harris will not appear at the April 21 and April 22 matinees. He will be the first in a series of guest actors. “Peter Pan” is still in the preview, officially started drawing on April 19, and will be released on July 9.
Known for his TV shows “Doogie Howser, MD” and “How I Met Your Mother,” Harris is also a Broadway veteran. He is best known for his roles as emcee in Cabaret (2003) and Hedwig in Hedwig and the Fury, for which he won a Tony Award in 2014.
