Nepal will take on the United Arab Emirates in the 2023 ODI World Cup qualifying seventh-place play-off at Kassin Sports Club in Harareta on July 2. United Arab Emirates played against Ireland in their last match, UAE won the toss and played. The third wicket tie between P Sterling and Ireland captain A Balbirnie reached 184. The team conceded only four wickets but scored a massive 349 runs. The UAE got off to a good start in the chase, with wicket drops at intervals and slow runs, resulting in just 211 runs per innings. In the end, the UAE team lost the game by 138 points.
