He also outlined why it is vital to encourage today’s young people to attend Zayed schools.

“The Zayed School is filled with many lessons, sayings, principles and values; as we move unswervingly towards the future, we build on the solid foundations we have inherited from the true Islamic religion and from our fathers and grandfathers Lessons are drawn from things to chart our path to glory,” said Professor Al Suwaidi.

Following his presentation, Professor Radwan Al Sayyed presented the readings for the book, in which he praised the book’s arguments, analysis and recommendations.

Prof. Dr. Al Sayyed pointed out that tolerance is a great human value that is integral to building cohesive, stable and developed societies, and the book sheds light on the context and circumstances in which the UAE specifically needs to issue documents.

Author and journalist Dr Khalid bin Qaqah noted that in his book, Professor Al Suwaidi details the UAE’s relationship with the world, whether through the many diverse communities that live here, or through the output of positive thoughts aimed at changing the course of human relationships ; and explained the goals of the document and the role of the UAE in its emergence.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Professor Dr Al Suwaidi hoped that the publication of this work will pave the way for more research papers that will be added to the UAE’s “Library of Tolerance” and highlight the country’s efforts in this field.
