Detroit (Fox 2) – A new live entertainment venue is opening at the former Punch Bowl Social Detroit.
Comedian Mike Epps’ One Mike Enterprises shared plans Thursday for One Mike Detroit, a comedy, music and spoken word venue at 1331 Broadway. Refurbishment work will begin next month and it is scheduled to open in the spring.
“Detroit has always been a great comedy city and my adopted home,” Epps said. “I’m excited to announce the opening of One Mike’s flagship store in downtown Detroit. We’re bringing great dining and a great comedy experience to 1331 Broadway.”
The venue will feature established performers, as well as those who are just starting out, Epps said.

The venue is co-owned by Rev. Horace Sheffield III and will be operated by Detroiters Robert Schultz, Kimberly I. Moore and Rhashad Hicks.
Luxe Lounge has also been announced. The upper loft will include Black-owned wine and spirits brands.
One Mike has also partnered with 7th Floor Hospitality Group to open a restaurant within the space. Savor 42 will offer seafood, lamb, beef, chicken and vegetarian options.
