A New Orleans bus driver called for the arrest of three parents. They allegedly dragged her off the bus she was driving and jumped her to a frightened student in a bullying incident.
Fox 8 According to reports, one of the women has been detained due to the incident, which has been videotaped. The New Orleans Police Department stated that Ketondra Goods was one of three women accused of pulling Andrea Anderson off the bus and beating her because they were angry about the bullying incident.
The identities of the other two women have not yet been determined. “This is terrible,” Anderson said. “They approached the bus, pushed other students you knew, and knocked them down.”
Anderson said that when she took the students to a bus stop, her parents were waiting for her. In the mobile phone video of a passenger on the bus, you see the parents on the bus confronting Anderson.
Then she saw her parents drag Anderson off the bus while continuing to beat and kick her at the bus stop. Next to the bus was a bus full of students.
“You know, but you decided to go to the bus stop and fight the school bus driver with childish thoughts, like I wouldn’t prosecute, because hey, I hope all three of them go to jail,” she said.
Anderson said that she is recovering from her injuries in the battle and traumatized what happened, but still plans to return to work.
“I like my job. I do want to go back because it is a good time frame for my children,” she said.
The school bus company where Anderson works did not publicly respond to the matter, and the New Orleans Police Department said the case is still under investigation.
As for Goods’ fate, she faces charges of beating the school bus driver, illegally disrupting the school, and contributing to juvenile delinquency.
