The New York Strikers, who have appointed legend Yuvraj Singh as their mentor, are keen to spread the message of diversity through cricket, which is also picking up pace in the US.
Speaking at the meeting, New York Strikers boss Sagar Khanna said: “I hope New York Strikers can produce some sparkling cricket in their sixth season at T10 in Abu Dhabi. We have a very strong ball. Team, they are eager to go, full of power and intrigue, just like India’s national animal tiger. We hope to see a tiger-like approach in the Abu Dhabi game, if this roar is combined with a message of unity, nothing I’m happier than that, it’s a must in team sports.”
The new season of Abu Dhabi T10 kicks off on November 23 with the finals on December 4. International cricket stars will play in a short but thrilling 10-over format during the two-week competition.
