The New York Strikers secured their third victory of the season on Wednesday 30 November as they beat the Northern Warriors in Game 22 of the 2022 Abu Dhabi T10 League. While the forwards are on a four-game winning streak, the Warriors are looking to lose control.
The win boosted the Forwards in the standings as they jumped to second with a .440 net run rate. The Warriors, on the other hand, retained fifth place, with NRR down to .152.
Apart from the No. 1 Deccan Gladiators, the Warriors are the only team with eight points. The Gladiators, meanwhile, have an NRR of 2.013 and have won four of six games.
Abu Dhabi are third in New York’s game against North West. Abu Dhabi have seven runs and an NRR of 0.098 after meeting the Delhi Bulls earlier in their encounter with a draw.
In second place is Samp Army with 6 points and an NRR of 0.375. They are followed by the Warriors, who have slipped to fifth after Wednesday’s loss to Forward. The Northern Warriors have just two wins so far this season.
Chennai Warriors And the Bengals were mediocre in the Abu Dhabi T10 league, losing four games each. The NRRs for both are -0.825 and -1.244, respectively.
The Delhi Bulls have only one win in the Abu Dhabi T10 league so far. After five games, their NRR is -1.130 with just three runs.
New York striker paves way for Abu Dhabi T10 knockout
The forwards, who are now second in the Abu Dhabi T10 League standings, have a good chance of progressing to the next stage. They chased 144 goals and took five wickets to secure a thrilling victory.
