Joe Jonas thinks more and more men wear makeup as “great”.
The 33-year-old singer believes that men have generally become more open to fashion and style in recent years.
He reflected: “There was a time when all these conversations, like, ‘Oh, men can’t do this, or it’s weird for men to do it’, I think there’s a stigma that’s going away, and I love that.
“Men are wearing makeup more openly, which is nice to see. Like, do whatever you want, you know? We live in a beautiful generation.”
Joe actually keeps some of his most iconic fashion pieces.
He told PEOPLE: “I keep some very special files.
“The last time my brother and I performed at the Grammys, I wore a Chanel suit and I had to keep it. It’s one of my favorites, even because of that memory.”
Joe also feels more comfortable in his skin than ever.
Speaking of his own approach to fashion, Joe – who is married to actress Sophie Turner – shared: “I feel like at some point you make decisions for yourself – what you want to do, what you want to wear, even Is the hair care product you put on your hair.
“You get to the age where you’re like, ‘Well, I don’t feel those pressures anymore’. I think if you asked me ten years ago, I would definitely feel that pressure more.”
Meanwhile, Joe admits that he has become more health-conscious in recent years.
He said: “I can’t sing so many songs and do so many shows back-to-back. When I was younger, I had no problem. Sleepless nights, go to another city, perform on this day, then go out and celebrate. Concerts – you just go to , go, go, go, and then you’re exhausted.”
