Nick Cannon holds a church dedication for his new daughter.
The 42-year-old TV personality and ex-girlfriend LaNisha Cole, 40, attended the ceremony for one-month-old Onyx Ice Cole Cannon on Sunday and posted a series of photos and stories on Instagram.
Nick captioned a photo of the girl online with filmmaker Ranisha and his family: “What a beautiful Sunday! Onyx Ice Cole Cannon dedicated to the Lord today!!! Romans 8:31 : “If God is for us, who can be against us! “#ChurchDrip.”
Ranessa also posted photos of the day and thanked her “church family” for the “beautiful” ceremony.
Nick shared a photo of Onyx wearing a small crown on his head last week online last week with the caption: “My job is to never let your crown fall off!”
The dedication ceremony came days after it was revealed that Onyx had been targeted by death threats.
Ranisha on Instagram Friday (10/14/22) about kids being trolled: “Death threats to babies are a new low. Some of you are disgusting.
“No matter what you think of my life, threatening my children has never been that deep.”
Following Onxy’s arrival, 10-year-old father Nick messaged fans online, requesting that any trolling be directed only at him, not at the mother of his children.
He said: “God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting angels on Earth. I vow to do everything I can to protect, provide, guide and love this child… We all know I’m not easily triggered and have hard skin , and has always been an open book, but not everyone in my family has the same level of power.
“So I pray and ask others to cast all critical and cynical eyes on me instead of the loving and precious mother of my children. “@MissLanishaCole is the most down-to-earth, most peaceful, least confrontational kind soul I have ever seen For one, it is only worth reveling in this moment of maternal bliss. Please give her that.
“She is so loving and pure of heart. As for me, if you’re really worried during this time of spiritual warfare, my inner struggle with ego, mental health and physical health issues…please continue to serve me and my family Pray that God will grant us peace that surpasses all understanding.”
Nick recently fathered son Rising Messiah with Brittany Bell, with whom he also shares son Kim and daughter Mighty Queen.
The rapper has two sets of twins — Morocco and Monroe, and Zion and Zillion with Mariah Carey and Abby de la Rosa, respectively.
He is also father and son of the Breticias legend who sold sunsets, but his son
Zen and Alyssa Scott died of a brain tumor in December 2021 at the age of 5 months.
