The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) UAE Final, organised by Startupscale360, will take place at in5 TECH Dubai.
In the UAE final, one winner from each category will advance to the EWC Global Competition. All startups will be measured in terms of product value, impact and global problem solving, team and scalability potential.
Global finalists will compete in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in March 2023 for a $1 million cash prize. In addition to cash prizes, the top 100 global finalists will receive $100,000 worth of in-kind services and support from service providers including AWS, Freshworks, Oracle, Hubspot, Stripe, and Segment. Global finalists also have automatic access to the GEN Starters Club, an invite-only community of talented founders from around the world.

Talking about the semi-finals, Swethal Kumar mentioned two successful semi-finals held last week at WeWork Dubai and Intelak Hub. A total of 18 judges were selected for the semi-finalist startups from Panthera Capital, Dana Venture, Founder Institute, Gems Education, Wami Capital, DHL Innovation, Virgin Hyperloop, MBRIF, Careem, Plug and Play, Dubai SME, Dubai Holding, Shorooq Partners , Dubai Cultiv8, Aditum Venture, 8X Ventures, Thaely and KappAfrik Group.
The UAE Finals will take place on 6 October 2022 at In5 Tech Dubai, the main sponsor and ecosystem partner. In5 is home to hundreds of tech startups, with their tech innovation hub strategically located in the heart of Dubai Internet City, with access to other media and education hubs.
Swethal Kumar shared his plans for the UAE final, which he said would be a series of panel discussions and 3 pitching sessions. The UAE finals will feature speakers and judges from major companies. Some of the identified speakers and judges are from Abu Dhabi Investment Office, Mubadala, Tencent, Dubai Future District Fund, Dubai Future Foundation, KPMG, Scality, Plus VC, India’s largest fund IvyCap Ventures and London Business School.
