As part of its efforts to support and add domestic value, NMDC Group (National Marine Dredging Company) and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to involve Abu Dhabi-based suppliers in key strategic projects.
The MoU was signed today by Eng. NMDC GCEO Yasser Zaghloul and HE Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber attended in the presence of HE Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Chamber.
Therefore, the two parties will launch the “Let’s Grow Together” initiative, which aims to improve local suppliers’ awareness of market needs and open up new procurement channels.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce was established in 1969 by the Emiri Decree of the Ruler of Abu Dhabi to support and develop the private sector in Abu Dhabi.
They recently launched a new 3-year strategy from 2023 to 2025, which focuses on serving the Abu Dhabi economy and strengthening its position as the ‘Voice of the Private Sector’.
Under the new strategy, Abu Dhabi Chamber aims to empower and enhance the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi’s private sector, making Abu Dhabi the first choice for doing business in the MENA region by 2025.
