It’s time for the annual BET to host the annual hip-hop awards ceremony again. The show pays tribute to all the hip-hop artists who have been killing it for years.On Thursday, the network announced this year’s Nominees 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B. and Drake topped the nomination. Both Megan and Cardi received nine nominations. They were of course nominated for their hit single “WAP”, and they were also nominated for their personal work.
Drake just released the highly anticipated sixth studio album”Certified lover boy,” received a total of eight nominations. Some of the categories he nominated include “Best Hip Hop Video”, “Song of the Year” and “Best Collaboration.”
Bia and Nicki Minaj put down a summer national anthem when they released the mix for Bia’s hit “Whole Lotta Money”, earning them nominations for “Song of the Year” and “Best Collaboration” at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
Other nominees include J. Cole, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, 21 Savage, Lil Nas X, Pooh Shiesty, Yung Bleu, etc. Including The Shade Room of “Best Hip Hop Platform”.
