NWTN delivers first range-extended electric vehicle to UAE company

[ad_1]

NWTN, a pioneering green technology company providing passenger-centric green mobility solutions, has announced that it has delivered 20 range-extended electric vehicles to M93 car rental company at its new facility in Khalifa Economic Zone, Abu Dhabi (R-EEV) (Kazzard).

Headquartered in Dubai and with its manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, NWTN aims to integrate cutting-edge design, lifestyle personalization, IoT connectivity, autonomous driving technology and a green energy ecosystem into its future mobility solutions. Company statement.

The 20 R-EEVs are part of the first batch of vehicles that will be delivered to local customers in the coming months, it said.

R-EEV is the perfect choice for UAE car rental companies and is especially suited to the UAE market.

It added that the vehicle’s range-extending technology overcomes the limited charging facilities in the UAE and the frequent long-distance travel in the country.

Senior NWTN officials said the delivery kick-started NWTN’s plan to deliver a range of innovative products and solutions to the UAE market to facilitate the region’s transition to sustainable energy.

“We are delighted to see our products and solutions starting to contribute to the UAE’s zero-emissions initiative. This is the beginning of our long-term commitment to the UAE and Middle East markets,” said Alan Wu, its chairman and CEO.

“We will continue to promote a green mobility lifestyle and bring world-leading sustainable technologies to the UAE to help support the country’s ‘Net Zero 2050’ strategic initiative and energy transition blueprint,” he noted.

Shahram Parvizi, Chairman and CEO of M93 Car Rental, said: “This is the first time we have included a new energy vehicle in our operating fleet and we are very excited about it. This is in line with our country’s green energy transition initiative, which we are proud to be an active part of. “

“I would like to thank NWTN for providing us with these advanced products and technologies. We look forward to launching more new energy mobility technologies and solutions from NWTN in the future,” Parvizi said.

According to him, the Kezad assembly plant is NWTN’s first plant in the UAE.

“The facility will enable NWTN to conduct semi-bulk production and undertake a greater proportion of hardware and software localization and upgrades to meet local market demand,” he noted.

“The Kezad assembly plant is currently in the final stages of installing equipment and conducting trial runs, and is expected to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2023,” he added.trade arab news agency
