Off Broadstreet Cabaret Dessert Theater’s Spring 2023 production, “The Variety Show,” will run for three weeks beginning Friday, April 14 at the uniquely glamorous and intimate location of 305 Galleria Street in Nevada City.
The Musical Comedy Show will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. ($35 admission) April 14-29 and Sundays April 16, 23, and 30 at 2 p.m. ($35 admission). $30 entry fee) staged. On Fridays and Saturdays, Chris Crockett offers pre-show entertainment an hour before the show, while American Roots singer-songwriter Jennifer Knapp Pre-show performances are offered on Sundays.
Starring seasoned performers Heidi Glass, Kate Height, Chrissy DeCauzan, Tina Marie Kelly and Ken Miller, this musical extravaganza features off Broadstreet’s many productions Some of the best songs and most memorable musical and comedic moments of the second half of the 20th century: from I Love Lucy to Laugh-In and SNL, from Bill Haley to ABBA and Madonna. Includes many Oscar-winning film themes that have become part of “The Soundtrack of Our Lives”.
