Eastern Insurance, a renowned insurance company, has partnered with DP World’s leading trade and logistics hub, Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), to provide insurance solutions to more than 9,500 businesses and industries in the free zone.
Under the agreement signed by Omer Elamin, Group President, Orient Insurance PJSC (Orient), and Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer, Parks and Regions, DP World UAE, Orient will provide insurance solutions to tenants and occupants of Jafza through the Dubai Trade Portal.

Omer Elamin, President of Orient Group, said: “This will support businesses by providing adequate insurance coverage and offering specific insurance policies tailored to the requirements imposed by the Free Zone. It will also enable Free Zone clients to have comprehensive coverage for employees, labor, capital investment, personal, asset and liability risks.”
