OSCODA — Staff at Oscoda Parks Libraries have announced various events for the public in July.
Activities include:
- July 13th 11-12:15pm — Jr. Garden Club for children ages 7-12. Kids will learn gardening techniques, sustainable living tips, growing their own vegetables and more!
- July 8-15 2-3:30pm — Social Skills Club for 8-12 year olds. This club is for anyone interested in improving social skills such as making friends, participating in conversations, problem solving and identifying emotions.
- July 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 & 27 3-3:30pm — Fitness Fun. This is a low impact exercise class open to anyone.
- July 12, 10:30am — Animal Encounters for all ages. The program will allow children to see, interact and learn about real animals.
- July 19th, 10:30am — Juggler Clark Lewis will perform for all ages. This show is hilarious and sure to make everyone laugh!
- July 23rd at noon — Hawk Hill Raptors Program presentations for all ages. This family program is designed to introduce local residents to birds of prey in their area and interact with live birds.
- July 26th, 10:30am — Music program for kids of all ages. This is a new program this year that features learning music.
