Ozzy Osbourne: I’m American Now | Entertainment

Ozzy Osborn didn’t want to leave America.

The 73-year-old music star and his wife Sharon have lived in the United States for more than 25 years, and Oz is now reluctant to return to his British homeland.

Oz, who was born in Birmingham, England, said: “Honestly, if I had my way, I would have stayed in America. I am American now.”

The Osbornes have decided to return home after Sharon came under fire for supporting Piers Morgan in a 2021 episode of “The Voice.”

Sharon, 70, has defended Pierce after his outspoken criticism of the Duchess of Sussex.

Oz tells Aftermath: ‘When my wife was called a racist [‘The Talk’]she is definitely not racist.

“Her friend was Piers Morgan … She didn’t say, ‘I agree with him.’ “She just respected his ability to have free speech. This is what she said. She gets a lot of flak for that, so we actually have to have fucking armed guards and all that. “

Meanwhile, Sharon previously claimed that the U.S. had become “a very strange place to live.”

The TV star also insisted her return to the UK had nothing to do with her husband’s Parkinson’s diagnosis.

Talking about her decision to go home and whether it had anything to do with Oz’s health issues, Sharon explained: “I know people will think that. No. It’s just time. So much has changed in America.

“This is not the United States of America at all. Nothing is unified. It’s a very strange place right now.”

Still, Oz admitted that his Parkinson’s diagnosis changed his outlook on life.

He explained: “You learn to live in the moment because you don’t know [what’s going to happen]. You don’t know when you’re going to wake up, you won’t be able to get out of bed. But you just don’t think about it. “
