As the airport does not have rapid PCR testing facilities, many residents are stranded in Pakistan.
Sialkot International Airport has introduced the long-awaited rapid PCR testing facility for passengers flying from Pakistan to the UAE.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said on Wednesday that it will provide rapid PCR testing facilities for passengers flying to Dubai from August 12, 2021.

PIA currently operates flights from all major cities in Pakistan to different emirates in the UAE, including Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Earlier today, Emirates also confirmed a rapid PCR testing facility at Sialkot Airport and responded to customer inquiries on Twitter.
