Currently, all major airports in Pakistan provide fast Covid-19 testing facilities for passengers travelling to the UAE
Passengers departing from Pakistan and transiting through Dubai must undergo a rapid PCR test before departure.
Emirates said on its website that this new regulation will take effect on August 27, 2021.
The UAE authorities earlier stipulated that residents from Pakistan must undergo a rapid PCR test at the airport six hours before the flight.
“Except for the testing of passengers travelling to or via Dubai from August 27, 2021, all passengers travelling from Pakistan to or connecting to Dubai must undergo a Covid-19 rapid PCR test at the departure airport before the scheduled flight departure. Rapid PCR The test can be carried out within six hours of takeoff,” said Dubai’s flagship airline.

Other requirements for travelers from Pakistan include a negative Covid-19 PCR test with a QR code 48 hours before leaving an approved laboratory.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan said last week that as of August 15, nearly 12,000 people had crossed the UAE, including transit passengers.
