The highly anticipated World Cup clash between India and Pakistan has been rescheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on October 14, instead of the initially planned date of October 15.
This change came about after an agreement between the PCB, ICC, and BCCI to adjust the dates of two of Pakistan’s matches.
Additionally, Pakistan’s match against Sri Lanka, originally scheduled for October 12 in Hyderabad, will now take place on October 10. This adjustment allows for a three-day gap before the crucial match against India.
The India versus Pakistan match had to be rescheduled due to concerns about the security deployment during the first day of Navratri festival in Ahmedabad.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will be releasing an updated schedule shortly, as it appears that a few other games involving different teams will also need to be rescheduled.
