Pakistani and Indian artists from the UAE join hands to celebrate Independence Day-News

A total of 40 artists, 20 Pakistani artists and 20 Indian artists based in the UAE joined hands to celebrate the Independence Day (August 14th and 15th).

Sisters Shiba and Farah Khan, the founders of Funun Arts, said: “Art inspires us to explore the concept of unity and see ourselves as part of the larger universe.” “This is a unique concept where artists from both countries gather in one On the platform, positive and philanthropic messages are spread through paintings and photos.” The artworks on display depict the culture, colors and traditions of various countries. People can see various media on display, and each work is told through color and texture. A story. There is a glimpse of Pakistani truck art and Lord Krishna’s depiction. There is Islamic art on display, just like there is a Ganesha. The main guest of the evening was Suhail Mohammed Al Zarooni, Chairman of Al Zarooni Foundation & Al Zarooni Group of Companies. Special guest Yasser Algergawi, Director of Projects and Partnerships of the UAE Ministry of Tolerance, and distinguished guests from both countries also attended the event.

Indian artist Afshan Quraishi said: “We have a wide range of cultures, especially our common love for food and art. Even some of our folktales are the same. Don’t forget our love for Sufism, poetry and music are one Bundling factors.” The works she exhibited represent women from India, dressed in colorful costumes. Pakistani artist Farhat Gul added: “Art is one of the main ways of communication that connects the world. It is a reflection of culture, politics and social dynamics. Art as a form of expression of people, traditions, culture, freedom, understanding, unity and harmony It’s amazing.” Gul’s work depicts a young girl on a boat in her land, depicting emotional sensitivity and fluidity of movement. The work of Indian artist Akbar Saheb depicts the diversity of India, “Art is a reflection of people and their social background. It also unifies differences and brings awareness. All artistic creation, regardless of form, has the ability to communicate with anyone Same potential.” Pakistani artist Mujeeb Kehar’s work combines Mahatma Gandhi and Muhammad Ali Jinnah into one. “The separation of art is equal to the separation of society. Art is one of the main ways of communication that connects the world, and so is my art work,” he added.

The exhibition will be on display at the Novotel World Trade Center in Dubai until August 31
