The Prime Minister of Pakistan is visiting Saudi Arabia to attend the Middle East Green Initiative Summit.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Jeddah with the delegation on Saturday. Prince Badar bin Sultan Al Saud, deputy governor of the Mecca region, met him at the airport.
At the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Khan is on a three-day official visit to participate in the launching ceremony of the Middle East Green Initiative Summit in Riyadh. He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi, Energy Minister Hamad Azhar and Special Assistant to Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam.

According to a tweet from the Prime Minister’s office, Khan will perform Umrah at the Great Mosque in Mecca.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will conduct bilateral interactions with Saudi leaders, paying special attention to advancing economic and trade relations. According to the tweet, he will also participate in activities to promote investment in Pakistan and interact with major investors and businessmen from the diaspora from Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom.
The Green Saudi Arabia and Green Middle East initiative was initiated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to protect nature and the planet.
