During a grand state visit, the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, extended a warm welcome to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The event took place at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi and included an official ceremony featuring horsemen on Arabian horses to honor the King’s arrival.
National Anthems and Salute      Â
Sheikh Mohamed accompanied King Abdullah II to the dais, where the national anthems of both the UAE and Jordan were played. The ceremony continued with a 21-gun salute, a symbolic tribute to His Majesty’s visit.
Aerial Acrobatics: JordanÂ
Before King Abdullah II’s arrival, the UAE’s national aerobatic team, Al Fursan, performed aerial acrobatics above the palace. The breathtaking display included a representation of the Jordanian flag.
Distinguished Reception
The prestigious reception saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with other high-ranking officials and ambassadors from both countries.
Jordanian Delegation
Accompanying King Abdullah II on his state visit was Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan. The Jordanian delegation included senior government officials and ministers, reflecting the strong ties and cooperation between the two nations.
