Indian politician Raghav Chadha and actor Parineeti Chopra have tied the knot in an intimate Udaipur ceremony at the Leela Palace. The couple is yet to make an official social media announcement.
Guests at the wedding, including designer Manish Malhotra and tennis star Sania Mirza’s sister, shared snaps in their wedding attire. Manish Malhotra donned a light ash sherwani while Sania chose a colorful sharara and Anam opted for a green saree.
A video captured at the venue featured the song “Kabira” from the film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” playing during the marriage rituals. The groom’s procession arrived on a decorated boat showcasing Mewar tradition. Notable attendees included Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Harbhajan Singh, Sanjay Singh, Aditya Thackeray, and Manish Malhotra. Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra, was absent, but her mother, Madhu Chopra, attended.Before the main wedding festivities, the couple hosted a 90s-themed sangeet in Udaipur, featuring a performance by Punjabi singer Navraj Hans. Guests received customized cassette messages.
Raghav wore a black indo-western ethnic outfit, while Parineeti donned a shimmering embroidered outfit with a beaded cape. They had previously hosted a sufi night in Delhi for close friends and family before heading to Udaipur.
The couple got engaged in Delhi on May 13, attended by politicians such as Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Mann, P. Chidambaram, and Aaditya Thackeray. Their love story may have begun during their time studying together in London.
