Paris Hilton ‘always planned’ to wait until 2023 to start a family.
The 41-year-old socialite insisted she and Carter Reum, whom she wed in November 2021, had always planned to enjoy their first year of marriage before continuing with their family planning, which she believes she will do next year It was possible to do so because the fertility treatment ensured they had “a large number of healthy embryos”.
She wrote on her Instagram story: “I get a lot of messages from people asking me when I’m having a baby.
“My husband and I have always wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage as a couple and we are now [sic] Always planning to start our family in 2023.
“IVF is a journey for everyone, but we are fortunate that we have many healthy embryos ready and waiting to be a part of our Cutesy Crew.”
The “Paris in Love” star couldn’t be more “excited” by the thought of having a baby.
She added: “As we all know, I have a very busy work and travel schedule, but nothing gets me more excited than becoming a mum in 2023!
“Thank you for all the good news.”
The comments came a day after Paris’ mother, Kathy Hilton, spoke of her disquiet at seeing her daughter “struggle” to start a family with her husband, 41.
Kathy said: “It breaks my heart because I know she’s been working hard and I always say, ‘Relax’.
“So many people, they’re struggling, but it doesn’t just happen that way.”
But the producers of “Stars Are Blind” later insisted that was not the case.
Asked about her mom’s comments, she told TMZ: “I don’t know where she got that. It’s not a struggle at all.”
