Pearl Polyurethane Systems, the region’s leading manufacturer of PU systems, has expanded its reach to better serve the North African region by opening a new office facility in Egypt called Pearl Polyurethane North Africa.
Ahmed Youssef, who recently joined the company and the Egyptian office as Head of North Africa Sales, brings over a decade of technical sales experience to Pearl to expand its PU offerings in the Egyptian and North African markets after holding similar roles at Dow and BASF .
Youssef will be responsible for providing personalized customer support to existing Pearl customers as well as meeting the growing demand from new customers in North Africa for their EcoPearl insulation range and other PU-based applications.
Polyurethane Foam Market
With Egypt’s population exceeding 100 million and continuing to grow at nearly 2% per annum, the Egyptian market is expected to exceed the 5% CAGR of the GCC polyurethane foam market growth forecast by 2026. Similar growth prospects exist across the North African region, as investment in infrastructure projects continues to increase, with the private sector playing an increasingly important role in this growth.
