Pete Davidson has reportedly been in “trauma therapy” due to Kanye West’s online harassment.
The former “Saturday Night Live” star – who had been dating the rapper’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian before her recent split – is said to have decided after Kanye made many threatening posts about him on social media “Ask for help”.
A source told PEOPLE: “The attention and negativity from Kanye and his antics are a source of [Pete], he had to seek help. “
The insider added:[Pete] No regrets about dating Kim and wanted to make it very clear that throughout their relationship, she just stood by him…
“Going forward, he just wants to focus on his career.”
Meanwhile, another report states that while the 28-year-old comedian is “disappointed” by his separation from Kim, 41, he wants to focus on “the future”.
A source told Entertainment Tonight: “Pitt is frustrated that things didn’t work out for Kim, but he’s focused on the future of his professional and personal life.”
Some of his friends are said to “already want to set him up” and another insider previously revealed that the “spark” between Pitt and Kim had “faded”.
They said: “They had a lot of chemistry and still does, but she kind of wanted to be single and date.
“Kim still loves Pete and will always be his friend. She still thinks he’s the best and cutest person in the world, and now there’s no drama or anything weird between them.”
While Kanye didn’t directly address his ex-wife’s recent breakup, the “Stronger” rapper did share a fake newspaper cover claiming Pitt’s death.
The headline of the fake newspaper shared to his Instagram account was: “Skete Davidson dies at 28”.
Last month, Kanye pulled out of Rolling Loud Miami for a short period of time, with Kid Cudi taking his place in the headlines.
During his show, however, the 41-year-old rapper walked off the stage after being thrown at him by the crowd multiple times, an incident Kanye also mentioned in his post.
The folded fake paper has a subtitle at the bottom that reads: “Kudy Cudi was supposed to play funeral but was afraid to throw bottles.”
