king’s shop at Waikoloa Beach Resort Introducing Polynesian Fire, a new live entertainment experience.
The free show, presented by Tiana Productions, aims to showcase the strength and beauty of the dancers while harnessing the hypnotic power of fire.
“Polynesian Fire” takes center stage at 7:30 p.m. on the first and last Friday of each month. Kingsʻ Shops are located at 250 Waikōloa Beach Dr. in Waikōloa.
“Polynesian Fire” is hosted by Stephanie “Aunt Tutu” Lindsay and brother Cario Lindsay. They take viewers on a huakaʻi (voyage), from the blazing torches and fire fans of Tahitian, to the fireballs of New Zealand, the volcanic fires of Hawaii and the breathtaking fire knives of Samoa.
The Lindseys are fourth generation Hawaiian entertainers, musicians, hula dancers. Stephanie Lindsey has worked at some of the best resorts and luau shows in Hawaii and is also a wedding master of ceremonies.
“We’re excited to bring this original production to Kings’ Shops,” said Marketing and Local Rentals Manager Cheryl Beckley. “The pandemic has put our live entertainment on hold for a while, but now we can once again welcome visitors and residents for dinner, shopping, and a truly special Polynesian dance performance.”
