Long-awaited trailer and music release directed by Mani Ratnam Ponny Inselvan 2 will be held today. The event will be attended by the main cast and crew of the saga like Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Khalsi, Trisha and AR Rahman. The event’s special guest was past Ratnam superstar Kamal Haasan.

The film’s official social media accounts shared some details about the big launch earlier. “An evening of music, nostalgia and history awaits at the #PS2 Music Launch! Join us!” read one caption. Another post read: “A big event! Join us in welcoming the one and only Mr. #UlagaNayagan @ikamalhaasan to unveil the music and trailer for #PS2 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on March 29!”
The PS 2 trailer launch event will be ChennaiThe Nehru Indoor Stadium starts at 6pm.
The second part of Ponniyin Selvan, based on Karki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of the same name, will pick up where the first film left off, and we see Ponniyin Selvan facing death, Aishwarya RaiOomai Rani jumped into the sea to save him.
Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be released on April 28 this year.
