ABU DHABI: The pavilion of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the UAE witnessed the opening of Abu Dhabi International Food Show 2022 at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center this morning with officials, entrepreneurs, company representatives and visitors.
Mrs. Šarūnė Šablevičienė, Attaché for Agriculture and Commerce at the Lithuanian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said that the high turnout of visitors, companies and officials who visited our pavilion is a testament to the confidence in high-quality innovative organic food.
She explained that the Lithuanian embassy’s pavilion, located in Hall 7, Wing C25, showcased the products of 14 Lithuanian companies specialized in the food and beverage industry.
She stated that this important exhibition, held for the first time in Abu Dhabi, is an ideal opportunity to present the significant development of the Lithuanian food industry and strengthen our possibilities for exporting food products to markets in the UAE and the Arabian Gulf region.
The first participation in Abu Dhabi International Food Expo 2022 was considered a success as visitors got to know and embrace the food products of 14 Lithuanian companies, including AUGA Group, Europe’s largest organic food producer, from field to shelf.
Mrs Šarūnė added: “We are also presenting in the pavilion the products of Cerera Foods, which has been known for 27 years for producing the best breakfast cereals, and Chazz, the first company in the world to produce this food. Potato chips for adults, and the Ekko company, the largest producer of organic cold-pressed rapeseed oil in Lithuania.”
She said that the pavilion also showcased products from Grainmore, one of the largest oat and granola production companies in Northern Europe, and Taitau, which specializes in high-quality natural chocolate with a unique traditional Lithuanian flavor, and OMG Bubble tea. , which offers unique ready-to-go authenticity as well as unique bubble teas, and Orivego, which offers natural, nourishing plant-based products for people pursuing an active lifestyle.
The Lithuanian Pavilion includes Startuper’s Smoothies, which produces organic smoothies in Lithuania, and Straikas, Europe’s largest natural birch sap producer, whose products are sold in more than 20 countries around the world under the Sip-Sip brand. Super Garden, offering high-quality freeze-dried food; Varėnos pienelis, a fast-growing company offering delicious and healthy dairy products; Wezoop, a start-up developing healthy aging foods, producing products and supplements with daily doses of different vitamins and 7IN – 7 Ievos namai, an original producer of herbal teas, artisanal jams and spreads, raw honey and exclusive spices.
