On Thursday, President #JoeBiden proposed a more direct way to deal with #COVID19.
The President introduced new vaccine guidelines for employers, healthcare workers, and federal workers with 100 or more employees to offset the latest rise in COVID-19 cases.
At the press conference, Biden made sure to let the American people know that those who have not been vaccinated are crushing his last nerve. “We have always been patient, but our patience is fading, and your refusal has cost us all,” he said.
According to CNN, he said people are “disheartened” with those who refuse to get vaccinated.
“Although the situation in the United States is much better than it was seven months ago when I took office, I need to tell you the second fact: we are in a difficult period, and it may continue for some time,” CNN also reported.
He also said that the vaccinated United States is becoming increasingly “frustrated” because millions of people have not been vaccinated and have contributed to the spread of COVID.
Although Biden’s plan has several different components, many people seem to disagree with employers who require 100 or more employees to be vaccinated or tested negative every week.
If the company does not comply, they will face fines of thousands of dollars.
Biden also signed an executive order requiring that “all government employees must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and cannot be tested regularly to opt out.”
According to CNN, it also announced that “300,000 educators in the Federal Enlightenment Program must be vaccinated.” He asked the governor to mandate school teachers and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
So far, this is the most aggressive requirement for COVID-19 vaccination.
Friends, what do you think?
